KIKu-Mon is a tool for monitoring the online trade of stolen or looted cultural artefacts. Targeted sales platforms can be searched and monitored automatically by web crawlers using keywords and photos provided by original owners. Items including similar objects will be identified by image matching technology.
KIKu-Mon is developed by Fraunhofer SIT for the Anchise Project. KIKu-Mon is built on different technologies developed by Fraunhofer SIT, including the advanced crawling tools, the deep learning based image matching mechanisms for identifying archaeological objects, and so on.
